Christmas Morning

Here I am posting a first blog on my wonderful new Christmas gift from my daughter, Janet , while she is on the phone teaching me how to use it.. why am I not surprised that we are shouting at each other....because nothing she ever does is ever simple and boring and uneventful...and it is still dark outside and I am not 35...so this world of technology is always a bit challenging..but go girl go..

We have almost hung up on each other.. and she has kindly stayed with me.. but I keep telling her that most people my age would not even attempt this ...so bare with me.. this can be overwhelming..but what a wonderful new world of tech we live in and I want to be a part of it.. hell I am a part of it.. I just asked her if she is still with me.. I could not hear the heavy breathing anymore.. and she answered weakly.. "Yes....unfortunately.."...

A few days ago I thought about Christmas and what it is all about and was so sad that she and Jean would not be with me.. today.. on this special day... but she is.. more than I can say..

I thought about what the real message of Christmas is.. ...the Nativity .. a very special birth of the Baby Jesus..... and I smiled and thought ... man...how appropriate.. I just gave birth myself .....to a whole new world for me.. talk about a miracle ....and magic..and I will go through lots of labor ...to learn this new techology... but what a joy.. and the Gift of the Magi.. well Janet is right along with them.. she has given me a beautiful gift of love.. . because she knows how much I love to write ...

And not to forget another wonderful thing about Christmas.. the thrill and wonder of Santa.. who reminds us that anyone can do anything.. the miracle of flying through the skies .. and reaching out to the dreams we have and making them happen.. the message to allow the child in each of us to be spontaneous.. to enjoy life and to glory in its wonder..

And then I had to think of my kids and the grandkids who all helped Janet to bring me this very special morning.. Merry Christmas to all of you ...life is good.. no wonder I love you so...
